The Bottom Line:

The Wilderness on The Lake hotel overlooks Lake Delton. Although previous guests appreciated the large size of the rooms they did not appreciate the stained carpets and the smell of mold and cigarettes. Previous guests loved the in-room jacuzzi that seats four and the fireplaces in each room. The indoor water park on the property and the Infinity pool were amenities that reviewers thought were wonderful touches. The lazy river and the free shuttle boat that transports guests across the river to the main resort area were also praised by past guests. All of the staff at the hotel were described as friendly except for the front desk staff who guests felt were rude and did not speak English very well.
