Washington is home to some of the most celebrated ski areas in the Northwest. The prime
location of Washington ski resorts in the North Cascades contributes to a predictable yearly

Mount Baker Ski Area

Inns Near Mount Baker: While Mount Baker Ski Area is not associated with a specific resort, nearby lodging is available 23 miles west of the resort in Maple Falls at The Inn at Mount Baker. The inn is reminiscent of an upscale European-style chalet with views of the Nooksack River Valley.

The Summit at Snoqualmie

Snoqualmie Summit offers four base areas with a variety of trails beginning at around
2600 feet, some of which are open for night skiing. The Summit also offers a Nordic and
snowshoe area.

Places to stay near Summit at Snoqualmie: The Summit Lodge at Snoqualmie is located approximately one-half mile from the ski resort and provides local shuttle service. Designed to replicate a European-style lodge, overnight accommodations include four different types of rooms, perfect for couples or families. Salish Lodge and Spa is approximately 29 miles from the ski resort and is located on breathtaking Snoqualmie Falls. Salish Lodge is a high-end boutique hotel that specializes in catering to its guests.

Crystal Mountain

Crystal Mountain is located near Mount Rainier National Park and is the largest ski resort
in the state. Accommodating a variety of skill levels, the area boasts more than 50 runs.

Lodging near the Mountain: Alta Crystal Resort is located in Greenwater, a mere 15 minutes from Crystal Mountain and offers guests their choice between chalet suites or small cabins. The resort has a recreation field, which is perfect for playful snow
activities, and a lodge with an assortment of indoor games.

Steven’s Pass

Steven’s Pass provides a variety of groomed trails ranging from beginner to expert, catering to all skiers and snowboarders. Cross-country skiers will find several regularly maintained
Nordic trails in the nearby Wenatchee Okanogan National Forest.

Accommodations near Steven’s Pass: The Bavarian Lodge is located in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. Located across from the Gazebo and town center, the lodge offers rooms with kitchenettes, Jacuzzis and kitchenettes while situating guests
within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants.
