“My husband and I checked into the University Inn on March 28 late at night where we were assigned room 226 (I believe that is the correct number). When we got ready for bed and pulled down the covers, we discovered a bedbug running across the pillow. We inspected the sheets (which looked immaculate) but found another dead bedbug between them. We isolated the living creature in a paper cup and took it to the desk. The desk clerk was apologetic and gave us another room up two floors and across the hall. We were out for the day and when we returned to the new room (425) on the evening of March 29 we saw no bugs. However, the next morning, my daughter, who had joined us the second night, had bug bites on her legs and we discovered one live bedbug running across sheets in the bed she had slept in. Again, we took the bug to the desk in a paper cup but the desk clerk on duty at the time didn't seem too surprised and not very apologetic. The desk clerk did talk to the manager, though, and they refunded our room costs for the two nights. ”
