The Bottom Line:
The Hotel Pension Anna is in the center of downtown Leavenworth. Rooms are all different, and the Alte Kappel suite, a converted church, is a favorite amongst guests. The hotel provides Bavarian style breakfast and the rooms are decorated in that style. This extends to the beds, and some prior guests found them uncomfortable as a result, although others appreciated them. All of the suites are large and the spa suite with its whirlpool and two balconies was also mentioned strongly. Staff were personable and the owner helpful in giving directions, although some guests complained of poor service, they were in the minority. Reviewers warn that there are few or no staff on site after 8pm.
