A museum and a ski area compose part of the city of Everett, Washington’s family fun appeal. Imagine Children’s Museum offers children various hands-on activities. One area of the museum features a farm experience, where children may sit on a 1952 tractor, find out what it is like to milk a cow or view baby chicks hatching. Other areas of the center include a pretend bank, a sandcastle, a mock airplane and a 16-foot tree house. Another attraction in Everett is Stevens Pass Ski Area, which features winter fun including skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Private lessons are available for ages three years and up. In addition to winter fun, there are places to eat and shop at Stevens Pass.
