Stowe is a resort town in northern Vermont that sits at the base of Mount Mansfield, the state’s highest mountain peak. The town is also home to Stowe Mountain Ski Resort, considered by many to have the best slopes on the East Coast. Regardless of the season, the Vermont Ski Museum makes for a worthwhile visit. The complex houses a number of historical ski equipment and features an exhibit on Vermont’s skiing history.
