Despite being a relatively small town, Williamsburg welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, primarily because of its Colonial Williamsburg attraction. Williamburg is located on the Colonial Parkway, which allows easy access to Jamestown, the first settlement in the United States, and Yorktown, the site of Cornwallis'surrender to George Washington at the end of the Revolutionary War.
