The Bottom Line:
The Breakers Resort Inn is right by the pier and next to the amusement park. It has direct beach access and is close to restaurants including a Dairy Queen. Some rooms are suites with well equipped kitchen areas with microwaves, fridges and coffee makers. Standard rooms have fridges and microwaves. Guests liked the Corian vanities and pillow top mattresses. The hotel does rent bikes, but prior guests warn that there are not enough of them, they are not rented after dark and they are older. Reviewers also liked the water pressure, but point out that there is only one elevator, commonly occupied by housekeeping. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, but guests found it too small.
