The Bottom Line:
The SpringHill Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront are across the street from Planet Pizza and close to Raven's, among other restaurants. The hotel is right on the beach and next to a children's playground. Guests appreciated the great ocean views, but note that the balconies are very small on the higher floors. Rooms are suites with kitchenettes, but on the small side for suites, and utensils and plates are not provided. However, the rooms do have sofa beds and the bathrooms have double sinks. A number of reviewers complained that the balcony doors lacked insect screens. Free continental breakfast was offered, although some guests found it not the best quality or selection.
