Virginia Beach: Hotels with Indoor Pool

With miles of ocean front and warm Atlantic waters, Virgina Beach, Va. makes an ideal vacation spot for both singles and families. One of the main attractions of the area is its beaches. The beaches are superb and well kept with warm, light sand and calming ocean water. During the summer months, however, the temperatures in the region can soar to over 100 degrees. Locals recommend highly the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Center, which houses over 700,000 gallons of tanks holding hundreds of varying species. A special treat is the pool near the entrance that hold the seals. Visitors are welcome to watch the feeding and training sessions at designated times. A must-see for adults and children is Captain Jack's Pirate Ship. The ship is an exact replica of a Spanish Galleon Ship. Families will love setting sail on a true pirate adventure. The ship is built to strict U.S. Coast Guard standards so safety is not an issue.
