Situated along the West End of Edinburgh, The Chester Residence brags of guestrooms equipped with full kitchens, flat screen TVs, iPod docking stations and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Visitors were thrilled with the hotel’s 24-hour concierge service, on-site spa and fitness center, and room service (delivered from the on-site restaurant below). While guests indulged in the spacious, well-lit suites, minor glitches concerned unaddressed in-room maintenance issues. Note that with no on-site parking, and street-side parking virtually impossible, guests advised to avoid driving if at all possible.
