Containing an indoor pool, gym (sporting five separate spa treatment rooms), and Michelin star restaurant, The Balmoral hotel offers guests an ideal location along Princes Street. Guests raved over the hotel’s elegant décor, spacious marble-countered bathrooms, and on-site afternoon tea and champagne bar. Highlights also included the Balmoral’s close proximity to Edinburgh’s public transportation (Waverley Station is mere minutes away), as well as Walter Scott Memorial. While Wi-Fi and secure parking are available, they do incur additional charges. Note that not all rooms sport views, and that famed author J. K. Rowling hatched the final Harry Potter novel via room #652.
