Magnolia Hotel Houston receives positive reviews from previous guests. Reviewers enjoyed the toothbrush and shaver stand in the large bathrooms, with huge oval tubs and modern fixtures. The soft beds, flat screen televisions, full kitchens or kitchenettes and a fully stocked bar, made reviewers happy with their choice of hotel. Reviewers also enjoyed the free breakfast, evening cookies and milk reception and the in-house bar. Some patrons took advantage of the free shuttle service until 11 pm. Reviewers also liked use of the rooftop hot tub where you could see firework displays from Minute Maid Park. It is also within walking distance to many downtown attractions including Sambucas restaurant, stated reviewers. Overall, most guests loved the friendly staff, central location and would choose this hotel again.
