The Bottom Line:
The Tremont House is located in Galveston’s Strand Historic District, within close proximity to the Grand Opera House and Strand Theater. The hotel is also just blocks from the local cruise ship port and waterfront area. Guests loved the hotel’s beautiful atrium, complete with live music and a bar area. They also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, with transit to a sister hotel on the beach. Rooms are luxurious and spacious, featuring high ceilings, hardwood floors, and expansive windows. The hotel also provides valet parking and dining services, including an on-site café with Starbucks coffee and complimentary wireless internet access.
