The Bottom Line:
The Omni Hotel at Dallas Park West is right off I-635. It is convenient for getting around Dallas, but reviewers warn that a car is necessary. Guests loved the outdoor pool area with fountains and appreciated the fact that the restaurant would deliver food to the pool. The bar also overlooks the pool, with outdoor tables. Also appreciated were the HDTVs in the rooms, which also had blackout curtains and personal safes. Some guests found the rooms too small. Mostly, however, prior guests loved the service and little details such as candied pecans in the rooms on check-in or milk and cookies sent up for young children. The hotel allows small pets.
