The Bottom Line:
Guests at the Hotel Lumen loved the relatively large size of the both the bedrooms and bathrooms, although some complained about the outdated and old looking decor. Most rooms also come with a walk out balcony and a standing shower. The Lumen is located close to the SMU campus and uptown, but is a fair distance from the major tourist attractions in downtown Dallas. The staff frequently received high marks from patrons even though the front desk often doubles as room service late at night.
