The Bottom Line:

The Edgewater Hotel is located one block away from the main strip in Gatlinburg. It is very close to the Ripley Aquarium and a short drive from Smoky Mountain National Park. The rooms at the hotel were praised for being clean and well decorated with very comfortable beds. Guests appreciated the flat screen TVs, fireplaces, and balconies; however, they were not pleased with the lack of extra wall outlets and the small bathrooms. Reviewers were happy with the two pools on the property and the attached hot tubs. The check-in process was described as very simple and quick and guests loved the fact that the staff was very open with suggestions for things to do in the area.
