The Deer Ridge Mountain Resort is located a small ways away from downtown Gatlinburg, but most guests of the resort loved the seclusion, the amazing view of the Smokey Mountains, and the many amenities that the complex offered, including several indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, a sauna, game room and video rental service on-site. Past patrons have praised the size of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, and the available units with indoor fireplaces in particular were celebrated for making guests feel at home. Finally, the staff was said to be more than courteous, and some members went out of their way to help increase guest's comfort.
