Guests of the Bales Town and Country Motel of Gatlinburg loved the sizeable, clean rooms, and some remarked that having one of the rooms with a full dinette and kitchenette made making home-cooked meals possible. All rooms come with a microwave, fridge and television set, though, and it was rare that guests claimed to have rooms which were not perfectly clean and sizeable. The location was praised by almost all patrons, as it was close enough to downtown to not require a cab, but far enough away so that the noise from the main strip did not keep them awake at night. Finally, the staff was lauded as being nothing but kind and courteous.
