Kid Friendly Hotels in Patong

Patong, Thailand is a beachside village located on the Island Phuket. One of the most unique attractions offered along the beach are elephant tours. Retired work elephants now take tourists on treks along the west side of the island. To see some famous movie sites, visitors can take a short boat ride to the Phi Phi Island and Hang Nga Bay where scences from James Bond, The Beach and other movies have been filmed. The Phuket Butterfly Garden displays over 6,000 butterflies, a silk museum and an insect world. The insect world displays unusual bugs such as giant milipedes, music lover insects and termites while the silk museum features live silk worms and exhibits on the production of silk from harvest to finished product.
