With in-room perks such as cable televisions, refrigerators and private balconies (overlooking either the ocean or pool), Andaman Seaview Hotel places guests along Phuket’s famed beaches, mere steps from Ao Chalong, Bangla Night Street and Kata Yai Beach. Visitors indulged in the hotel’s full-service spa, as well as outdoor pool (equipped with a swim-up bar) and on-site restaurant. Further highlights included stellar service (surcharges apply) and 24-hour room service. Guests who left underwhelmed found poor English speaking staff, nonexistent air conditioning, and an incredibly weak Wi-Fi connection (a signal can only be found poolside, and surcharges apply).
