The Bottom Line:

The Sofitel Centara Grand Resort is located in the heart of Hua Hin, within walking distance of the beach and night market.  Guests loved the hotel’s colonial style architecture and immaculate grounds, highlighted by an array of tropical gardens.  They also appreciated the attention to detail, including staff members that roam around the facility with fresh fruit and spare sunglasses.  Accommodations are split between guest rooms and private villas.  Both options are immaculately clean and luxurious, with complimentary bottled water and reliable air conditioning.  Note that extra services are expensive by area standards, including an average breakfast buffet and wireless internet access.
