With guestrooms featuring mini-bars and safes, Gloria Palace Royal Hotel transplants visitors within Sofia’s center, near attractions such as the Church of St. George, the Archaeological Museum and the National Gallery for Foreign Art. Visitors appreciated the on-site bar/restaurant, as well as downstairs nightclub and gift shop. While parking and Wi-FI access are available, occasional guests griped over additional surcharges. Guests indulged in both the hotel’s infinity pool, as well as seemingly ‘adults only’ indoor pool. Major complaints concerned the resort’s late night entertainment (thus the subsequent partiers) as well as constant traffic noise.
