Centralized within Playa de Las Americas, Hotel Bitacora sits just steps from the beach, and within walking distance to Club de Golf Las Americas. Specifically geared towards traveling families, the hotel offers kid-centric water chutes and playgrounds. Visitors were thrilled with the Bitacora’s two pools (one heated), as well as in-room perks such as balconies, air conditioning, mini-bars and satellite televisions. Those who indulged at either the main restaurant or poolside snack bar were satisfied with the menu’s selection and prices. Further highlights included the on-site nightly entertainment, as well as on-site tennis courts and mini golf course. Those unimpressed found dated guestroom décor and slow poolside service.
