Sporting free Wi-Fi and a complimentary airport shuttle service, Hotel Fuerte Marbella sits within Marbella’s center, directly along Costa del Sol’s famed beaches. Guests raved over the hotel’s close proximity to Old Town as well as Plaza de los Naranja. Equally thrilling were in-room perks such as satellite televisions, mini-bars and air conditioning (all equipped with sea or city views). While a couple restaurants reside on site, numerous guests found price too steep, and advised dining elsewhere. Those who unwound at Hotel Fuerte’s two swimming pools felt the service was fantastic, yet found likeminded crowds barely manageable.
