The Bottom Line:
Sporting elegant 14th century furnishings, Hotel Preciados resides within Madrid’s city center, just minutes from Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real. Visitors raved over the hotel’s complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site private parking and fully restocked, complimentary mini-bars. Guests indulged in daily breakfasts (served from the hotel’s outdoor terrace), and found guestrooms to be surprisingly spacious. Further highlights included the hotel’s serene environment (an ideal place to unwind at the end of the day), as well as supremely helpful front desk staff. Minor complaints concerned non-existent blackout curtains, and faulty advertisements for guestroom balconies (note that only some of the rooms sport view-equipped patios).
