With in-room amenities such as color televisions, air conditioning and safes, Hotel Coronas Playa sits less than a mile from Costa Teguise, and near tourist hotspots such as Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen. Note that as the resort is geared for leisure-seeking adults, the hotel offers no children-centric activities or services. Visitors were thrilled with the Playa’s two swimming pools, Internet center, on-site restaurant and various bars (one featuring live music and sport-broadcasting televisions). While service standards were phenomenal, those who left disgruntled felt on-site drink prices were outrageous, and found the non-complimentary Wi-Fi (around 10 euros per day) insulting.
