The South Wind on the Ocean is located in the north end area of Myrtle Beach, and is close to Broadway at the Beach and restaurants. Previous guests have reported that the rooms are not satisfactory, the beds are uncomfortable and the carpet and linens are dirty. Guests have also complained about the regular keys for the door that are not as secure as slide cards. Most guests like the location but do not recommend the rooms.
