“I checked in on 22 dec. The room had very bad odor and the pillows and comforter have never been cleaned. My throat was hurting due to that bad smell. Next day they moved us into other room. I couldn.t go to sleep as the room was worse than previous room. The bed was very uncomfortable. When I took shower in the morning I found bug bites all over my body. I asked my daughter & her body had bug bite worse than mine. In the afternoon I called front desk and complained about bugs. She send a maintenance person who after checking confirmed that there are bugs in the beds then he called the manager. When I came back in the room he was looking at the thing seriously and agreed to me that he will refund my money back so I can move out to other hotel. I booked the other hotel right in front of him and when I went to lobby to get a refund he not only refused to refund my money but also said there is no bug while I have seen bugs and blood stains by myself and other maintenance person admit and showed me bugs when the manager refused he said I just said that there are spots of bugs. They moved me into another room and my daughter body, face and eye have been bitten. There was no place where bedbugs did not attack on her she was itching miserably. When I came home, I took her to the doctor who confirmed that it was bedbug bites. She was very badly bitten so she got four prescription medicines to take and apply to get better. Then she advised me to get professional bug spray in the home. Tomorrow my home will be exterminated so if any bug come with me it will be killed. I wish I never went to that hotel. When they were checking the beds, I saw cookies crumbs, jelly bean gummy bears in the mattress. Also I found tickets that been purchased in 2007 in the mattress just under the fitted sheets. No wonder the rooms have so much bedbugs. Management knows everything and deliberately does it and also pressurized other cleaning crew so they will not talk about what bugs they saw. This hotel is health hazard and need to be shut down.”

“Bed bugs found!!! We stayed in a 4 bedroom condo. Family members had been itching, and scratching but we just blamed it on the chlorine. Got ready for bed on the 5th night, and my aunt found a live bed bug crawling on my cousin pillow. It was fully developed, and that’s how we were able to capture it and put it in a ziplock bag. We then started checking the other beds and found dead ones in the master bed room. We took the live bed bug down to the front desk, and the staff was so rude. We asked for our money back and he said that it would not be possible because the rooms are individually owned. My daughter that is 6 had bite marks on her back and her sides. Two other family members had bites on their hand, arm, and face. We even tried to show the staff the bite marks on our family. We packed up our luggage and put them in trash bags. The next day, I called the room back at the resort to see if a new family had checked in and, they had already given the room to new guest. I warned the family about the bed bugs and they checked out. The general manager finally called us after 2 days and threatened us for telling the quest about the bedbugs. Just don’t want other families to go through what we went through.”
