Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is one of the premiere family hotels in the city. Built in the style of a 1940s fishing lodge, it is situated just steps from the beach. Guests rave about the spacious accommodations of their one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, noting spectacular amenities such as full kitchens, washers and dryers and private porches and balconies. Those traveling with children love that the pool area also includes a water slide and separate wading pool for kids. The hotel also features an activity program specially designed for to include the entire family, such as kayaking tours and camping. Guests do note that there are limited dining options at the resort outside of a small snack bar, but do remark that there are numerous quality dining options within a short drive.
