Hood River is a city in Hood River County Oregon, located off the Columbia River. The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is a 70-mile stretch of land located on both sides of the Columbia River. Wahkeena trail offers hikers beautiful scenery and attractions such as Fairy Falls and Angel's Rest. Couples can take a walk through a wide-array of automobiles and airplanes at Hood River's Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum. The museum is known for having one of the largest collection of antique planes and automobiles that still function. Even loco-mobiles from 1889 are on display here. The White Salmon River is popular in the area and offers both kayaking and white water rafting. Little White Salmon River Hatchery is stocked by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, so a wide variety of fish are in the area.
