The Bottom Line:
The Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park is across the street from Central Park, close to the ice rink. It is on the Avenue of the Americas and within an easy walk of 5th Avenue. Guests loved the decoration of the rooms, with marble bathrooms and upholstered silk walls. Views are good, especially on the park side, but reviewers also appreciated the views of elegant residences. The hotel has turn down service with chocolates and water. Reviewers recommend spending extra for access to the Club Lounge if possible, which also has its own concierge. Staff are incredibly helpful and willing to recommend restaurants and activities and obtain tickets, such as for carriage rides.
