The Bottom Line:
The Sofitel New York is in a very central location, an easy walk to Times Square and Broadway. It is on a quiet, upscale section of 44th Street. Guests loved the spacious rooms and duvet covered beds, and appreciated the Frette linens and towels. Bathrooms are marble with separate showers and tubs. Rooms also have full length mirrors, fluffy bath robes and flat screen televisions. The hotel has turn-down service. Reviewers raved about the concierge service and the hotel's ability to find taxis, restaurant bookings and event tickets, even at short notice. They also liked the food and service in the hotel's bar and restaurant.
