The Vu Hotel is in Hell's Kitchen and about a twenty minute walk from Times Square. The hotel has a restaurant, Print, which was recommended. Other nearby options include PJ Clarke's and Stecchino Wine Bar. The hotel has a rooftop bar, but reviewers warn that drinks are overpriced even by New York standards. Guests loved the bathrooms with sunken soaking tubs and separate rainforest showers. Rooms have great views of the Manhattan skyline and comfortable beds. Wifi is free only to Kimpton members. The hotel is, however, pet friendly. Service was described as good, with the doormen always willing to help hail a taxi.
