The Hampton Inn 35th Street Empire State Building is very close to the Empire State Building and a few minutes walk from Times Square. Nearby shopping includes Macy's Herald Square and Victoria's Secret. Rooms are small but very clean and guests appreciate the desks and notebook stands. Beds are comfortable with white duvet covers and goose down pillows, but rooms do not have fridges or microwaves. The hotel offers free breakfast and also coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all times. However, reviewers were disappointed in the breakfast, which was served in a crowded area and not always sufficient for all guests. Staff are exceptionally friendly and willing to accommodate requests, but some reviewers had minor issues with housekeeping.
