The Bottom Line:
The Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square are on Times Square itself and two blocks from Fifth Avenue. Nearby restaurants include Virgil's and Carmine's. Guests appreciated the soft sheets and warm comforters and even the sofa beds were praised for comfort. All rooms are suites with separate living areas, fridges and microwaves, and are large by city center standards. Reviewers also liked the city views from most rooms. The concierge was helpful and would obtain show tickets, staff were courteous and the hotel provides chocolate chip cookies on check-in. However, guests warn that wireless internet is not free and computer use in the business center is somewhat pricy. The breakfast buffet was also called expensive by guests.
