The Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel is in the center of Chinatown and close to Little Italy. Canal Street is nearby for shopping. Rooms are on the small side, but guests loved the hardwood floors, Sharp LCD TVs and the choice of firm and soft pillows. Bathrooms are stone tiled with stand up showers, but some guests found they lacked counter space. Reviewers also appreciated the free internet and the very helpful staff. The hotel is non smoking and offers a decent free breakfast. Reviewers warn that late checkout is not available and the hotel charges $5 to store bags after checkout.
