The Bottom Line:
The Affinia Gardens is between Second and Third Streets, within walking distance of Central Park. It is also close to Bloomingdale's. Rooms are spacious suites with kitchens, and guests appreciate the 500 plus thread count sheets and separate mirrors near the bathroom. Some rooms even have patios. The leather recliners were also appreciated, as was the good water pressure. The hotel has no restaurant or bar, but this is considered minor given the location. Coffee, herbal tea and cookies are available in the lobby and they do have a small cafe for breakfast. Reviewers appreciated the great service, especially the help getting directions, restaurant recommendations and event tickets.
