The Bottom Line:
The Wyndham Grand Desert is a mile off the Las Vegas Strip, and reasonably convenient to the Palace Hotel, Magic and Movie Hall of Fame and Caesars. The rooms are suites and are very clean, with full kitchens. Guests appreciate the DVD player and washer/dryer and mention that the kitchen is well stocked. However, they are not enthusiastic about the uncomfortable pull out beds. Guests also raved about the friendly staff, although did note that the Starbucks in the lobby was not open reliably.
