The Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the last of the original "Rat Pack" hotels in the city. Located in the very heart of the Las Vegas Strip, the Tropicana offers some of the best views of city. The hotel has very recently been renovated and now offers modern amenities like flat screen televisions. Guests interested in better accommodations are advised to book a room in the Paradise Tower. While many find the hotel to be very affordable, others complain about the resort fee that is automatically added to their bill. The brand new pool area draws impressive reviews, as do the new Nikki Beach Club and Club Nikki which offer swim-up blackjack tables and a private island in the center of the pool.
