“I read some of the bed bug comments about the Excalibur so we brought bed bugs spray. The reason they have bed bugs is because the rooms are so filthy. I discussed the dirty room they offered to upgrade us, but they would not provide us with additional bed bug spray. The management also claimed there were no bed bugs on there property, but we found dead ones over our stay. I showed the front desk manager a couple dead bugs, and she acted like I brought the damn thing from Houston to try to get some over on them.
We didnt have any bites thank goodness!
NEVER STAY at Excalibur! I had a several problems with the management and maybe a bit bitter.

“After I woke and and showered and walked back towards my bed, I saw blood on the sheets. I then examined the sheets closer and saw black specks on the bed. Some of the specks were very small but a couple were clearly adult bed bugs.
I collected one in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk. Security responded to the hotel room and took a report. The Security guards clearly saw that the room was infested and took photos of the bed, headboard and one of me. The security guard said the bed bugs were nesting the headboard.
The security guard stated that I would be receiving a call from their risk department after receiving his report.”

The Bottom Line:
The Excalibur Hotel is considered one of the better budget hotels in Las Vegas. Despite its affordable room rates, guests do criticize the resort fee that is automatically added to their bill. The hotel is home to two permanent shows, the Thunder from Down Under male-revue show and the Tournament of Kings medieval-themed jousting tournament. The pool area is often praised for offering options for both adults and children, though some guests wish there was more shade. The rooms are generally rated as clean and modern, but otherwise unremarkable. Guests interested in better accommodations are advised to book a “widescreen room” as they are considerably newer and larger than the standard room. The restaurants in the hotel are generally given mediocre grades, though some travelers enjoy the presence of the cheap food court on the premises.
