Farmington is a town in northwestern New Mexico that serves as the gateway to the Navajo Indian Tribe. The areas most notable attraction is perhaps the Aztec Ruins National Monument, where a preserved pueblo village sits in the middle of the desert. Trails run through the village and a number of ruins feature small doorways that allow access to the impressive interiors.
