The Bottom Line:
Just steps from the beach, and centrally located within Wildwood, The StarLux features Doo Wop-themed accommodation. Featuring an all-glass lobby, guests were impressed with the hotel’s available games, massive fireplace, flat screen television and poolside promenade. Rooms come equipped with free Wi-Fi access, lava lamps and 50’s inspired furniture, and visitors were equally thrilled with free daily breakfasts and free on-site parking. Note that in addition to guestrooms, the hotel offers rentable Retro-themed airstream trailers. Those who left disgruntled felt the hotel’s ‘hip’ décor was ill-matched by the price, found the pool too shallow and housekeeping standards nonexistent.
