The Ramada West Atlantic City is a couple of miles from the boardwalk, but provides a free shuttle. However, reviewers found the shuttle unreliable and often late. Rooms were described as basic and in many cases as dirty, especially the beds, with lumpy mattresses and threadbare sheets mentioned. Reviewers recommend asking for a room in the taller building on higher floors, which are stated to be more pleasant. The hotel does have a nice pool. Service received mixed reviews, tending towards the bad, and many guests said they would not return.
