Most Recent Bed Bug Reports:
“We stayed at the Trump Taj Mahal on June 24th-June25th.....When we got our room it just FELT dirty, I called housekeeping to come clean it up some, since there was long strands of hair on the bathroom floor, and the window sill looked like something was spilled and never cleaned, the beds looked like they were slept in already....In the meantime our luggage and the COT we asked for came up. I put on a pot of coffee and was telling my daughter NOT to go near the beds until I looked at the sheets and checked to see if there infact any bed bugs....Well my daughter didnt listen (like thats unusal for a kid) I went to get my coffee and saw something crawling out the the corner of my eye, and bent over to see what it was, well it was a BED BUG!!! MY daughter has a bite on her leg....I called my parter right away to come up to the room and he did, he called security and they took there good old time getting up here....Once "security" got here he was very ignorant and arrogent.....He asked in a snobby tone if my daughter wanted an ambulance, and asked me 3 times if it was REALLY a bed bug....I caught it under a clear glass for these ass's to see, and I also pulled a picture of what they look like up on my cell phone. I spoke with LINDA and RICHARD (front desk managers) who did NOTHING....They said unlike other resort hotels down here, they have a "MILD" problem....They are NOT willing to exterminate my home in the event I bring these home with me, they didnt offer a THING!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS AWEFUL PLACE....UNLESS you want BED BUGS!!!!”

The Bottom Line:
The Trump Taj Mahal is right at the Steel Pier and next to Showboat and the House of Blues. It is an easy walk to Tropicana and Bally's. Guests loved the comfortable beds with soft sheets and the soft towels in the bathrooms, which had good showers and separate toilets as well as double sinks. Some did have issues with the televisions not working and there were complaints about dirt. Reviewers recommend rooms in the Chairman Tower if possible, and some rooms have ocean views. The hotel has a nice indoor pool, but guests warn that the hours are limited and it tends to be taken over by children. There were numerous complaints about slow service and poor attitude from the staff.
