The Bottom Line:
The Showboat Casino Hotel is on the Atlantic City boardwalk, but it is at the far end and somewhat far from the other casinos. The House of Blues is right inside this hotel. It is close to Boardwalk Hall. Guests enjoyed the casino, which has plenty of different machines, although some found it a little smoky. There were numerous complaints about dirty rooms and cigarette smell in non-smoking rooms. Also, the televisions were described as small and elderly and guests reported damaged furniture. Some of the rooms, however, have properly handicapped accessible bathrooms with sit-in tubs and wide entrances. Some packages include a seafood buffet, which got mixed reviews from guests. There is also a Johnny Rockets in the hotel.
