Most Recent Bed Bug Reports:
“Me and Family was on vacation and stayed at the Bayview Tower room 6051. We checked in on August 1, 2011 and the incident happened on August 2, 2011 around 1:00am when I returned to the room and had gotten ready for bed. About 1:20 am I started inching. I looked in the mirror next to the bed and that's when I noticed about 5 bites that where inflamed. First I checked the bed to see if there where bugs and they were. So, I took Pictures of the bug and my back then I called the front desk and they told us to come down. The host did change our room and only after I showed her my upper back where I was bit at and she seen the swollen bits on my upper left back shoulder area was when she asked did I want to make a complaint. I filed a complaint then went to see the nurse. The Nurse was really helpful and gave me medicine on site due to my skin allergies and the size of the swollen bites. Then asked where else did I get bite I told her my left leg and my right top part of my foot by my ankle and showed it to her. She wrote everything in her report at that time and advised me to check all my clothing and put the clothes that I had on in a plastic bag away from any other clothing so that it wouldn't spread to them if they wasn't already exposed. ”

The Bottom Line:
The Harrahs Resort Atlantic City is a few miles off the main boardwalk, and not close to any of the attractions. There is, however, a bus to the boardwalk and some guests appreciated the quieter location. Rooms are large, and guests appreciated the huge showers, which were separate from the tubs. They loved the comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and the hardwood floors. Some complaints were made about dust in the rooms, and others had issues with television remotes not working. Rooms also have coffee makers. The hotel has a nice indoor pool, if a little small. Reviewers liked the casino, but mentioned high table limits. Service was reported as mixed, but guests raved about the buffet.
