The Bottom Line:
The Ascot Motel is across the street from the Tropicana and the Quarter and convenient to the beach. It is minutes from Boardwalk Hall. However, prior guests reported dirty rooms and requests for non-smoking rooms not being honored. Reviewers also reported that smoke alarms did not work. Rooms do have TVs, fridges and microwaves, but no other special amenities were mentioned. Prior guests did like the breakfast buffet. They also appreciated the pool, which was cleaned regularly and in good condition.
