The Bottom Line:
The Kalispell Grand Hotel is right on Main Street, close to art galleries and upscale shops and across the street from the excellent Capers restaurant. It is about a thirty minute drive from Glacier National Par. Guests appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows, but found the rooms too small. They especially criticized the cramped bathrooms, which have only showers and no tubs. Service is exceptional and the hotel offers complimentary homemade cookies on check-in. Guests also loved the hotel's historic charm and more than one reviewer mentioned that it is not just open to pets but extremely welcoming to them.
