El Cid Marina Hotel is located in a quiet area of Mazatlan, just outside of the Golden Zone. A free water taxi provides service to a private beach, just minutes away from the hotel. Guests appreciated the hotel-sponsored excursions, highlighted by city and tequila tours. They also loved the food and drink services, including multiple restaurants and a poolside bar. Accommodations are clean and spacious, with white tiled floors and minimal furnishings. Note that the facility is a time-share, as the property owners can be a little overbearing at times in the common areas. The hotel also provides a hot tub and limited room service.
